Like most people, we didn't make room in our dreams for cancer. And when it barged into our lives we didn't plan on it taking our little girl. At least not so soon. Follow this mom of four as she learns to live after child loss.

Just Have to Wait
No words today.
Just memories by us and music by Stephen Curtis Chapman, a man who also knows the pain of losing a sweet, little girl.
Beautiful video, beautiful music. I can't imagine the pain of your loss, but I love the way you are holding her memory dear through this blog and the fun run. I wish I could have known her. I'm praying for your continued healing and God's arms to enfold you and your family today and every day you need it. If there is anything I can do to help Addie's memory live on, like a fundraiser through Origami Owl or helping with the fun run, or just being a friend, please let me know.
So hard to wait-this world is not our home...you are an example of perseverance and hope to those who have experienced unbearable loss and give us hope through a risen Savior. Praying constantly♥
Darwin & I met with Anna's first communion class yesterday as she will be partaking in her first communion on Thursday. One of the pastors said that the reason the communion rail is not completely closed in a circle is because we are communioning with all the saints that have gone before us on the other side of the alter. It is good to know that we will be communing with Addie, my mother and all that have gone before us this Thursday and each time we come to the Lord's Table. Thank you for sharing and allowing us to be part of your family. Cindi Lehmann
Thinking of you guys especially today.. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of your family... I drive by the new humane society building in Lincoln everyday and I think of your sweet Addie... May God continue to comfort you and bless your wonderful family!! God bless... Mike Lempka
Praying extra prayers for you and the family today. Wish I could be at the walk on Sat, but won't be able to make it. Great article in the Lincoln Journal, by the way. God bless you all.
Extra prayers being sent for your family today and during this week. I wish my family could be there for the walk/run this weekend but we will be out of town. It sounds like you will have an amazing weekend. God Bless your entire family. Michelle Zoller
I think of you so often, along with your mom and dad. Praying for peace for you today especially. May you be flooded with prayers and feel them in your very soul. Julie Grant
Thinking of your family even more than normal. Keeping you in our prayers constantly. Hoping you know how many people continue to think and pray for your family and hoping it offers a little comfort, a little peace and continued strength. The Wallmans
So many thoughts and prayers going up for you. Addie has brought us to so much goodness in her shirt life on this earth. She will always inspire us all. LIVE LIKE ADDIE.....
What a beautiful tribute to Addie. Her beautiful family, and, her beautiful life. I know she is shining down in the sun rays this morning, and singing through the birds songs. You are always in our thoughts and prayers, but we are praying for a little extra strength, comfort, and peace today. The Smith Family
We love you guys. Holding you all in our hearts and prayers.
